Greeting to you, this letter may come as a surprise but I’m begging you please to read it and take me for my words. My name is Charlemagne Verdyl, I’m 31, a believer and I'm married and I have one daughter, and she is 2 and half years old.
For the past 2 years life has been very difficult due to the devastating earthquake that struck Haiti on January 12 2010,many people have lost their lives and many have lost their houses and been displaced. Our greatest testimony is that The Lord kept us safely in His arms during that time though our house was completely broken down but my family has been able to be spared the most important thing, our life. Many helps have been brought to Haiti on the long-running but never got to us because of the great need and we live the province. I have started rebuilding my own house one year ago which is only 2 rooms and I managed to put the blocs on it’s been a while but I’m just not able to put a roof, for this reason I’m looking for some support from you whether your financial support or your prayer, in any way you can help.
To put a roof on my 2 rooms it’s only going to cost me $ 700 US equal to 28,500 HT G to buy 60 sheet metal, 30 2x4s and stuff.
I’m writing to you to make you remember us in your prayer since we are approaching January 12 2012 which will make exactly 2 years after the Quake. If your heart is touched by my letter please reply with some words of encouragement s and we would like direct touch.
